By creating an account or using Quotefolio (quotefolio.vercel.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and verify it to add content.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You may not create accounts for automated bots or spam purposes.
One person, one account — creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is prohibited.

3. Content rules

When adding quotes or any other content, you agree not to post:

Content that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence.
Spam, advertising, or promotional content.
Personal information of others without their consent.
Content that intentionally impersonates real people or entities.
Fabricated quotes falsely attributed to real people.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules without prior notice.

4. Copyright and intellectual property

Quotefolio is designed for sharing short quotes for personal, educational, and commentary purposes, which generally falls under fair use. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use of quoted content complies with applicable copyright law in your jurisdiction. We will respond to valid copyright removal requests.

5. Usage limits

You may add up to 10 quotes per day to prevent abuse.
Automated tools or scripts to bulk-add content are not permitted without explicit permission.

6. Public content

Quotes you mark as Public are visible to all visitors, including non-registered users and search engines. Quotes marked as Private are only visible to you. You can change the visibility of your quotes at any time.

7. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your own account at any time. Upon deletion, your content will be permanently removed from the platform within 30 days.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Quotefolio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service and are not liable for any data loss or damages arising from the use of the platform.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
