Quotefolio (quotefolio.vercel.app) is a platform for collecting, organizing, and sharing quotes from books, films, series, anime, and personal thoughts. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean the Quotefolio service.
2. What data we collect
- Account information — email address, display name, and avatar when you sign up via email or Google OAuth.
- Content you create — quotes, source names, and tags you add to the platform.
- Usage data — pages visited, actions taken (likes, shares), collected anonymously via Google Analytics.
- Technical data — browser type, device type, and IP address, processed by our hosting infrastructure.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account.
- To display your public quotes and profile to other users.
- To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset).
- To improve the platform based on aggregated usage analytics.
We do not sell your data to third parties and do not use it for advertising.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Quotefolio:
- Supabase — database and authentication. Your account data and quotes are stored on Supabase servers.
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics. You can opt out via browser extensions.
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. Only your email and public profile name are shared with us.
5. Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your quotes and personal information will be permanently removed from our database within 30 days.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data via your account settings.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Export your quotes at any time.
7. Cookies
We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. Google Analytics uses its own cookies for anonymous tracking. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
